Deflection distributes a complete range of anti-vibration products to isolate mechanical equipment: suspended and seismic isolators, neoprene and rubber pads, Quebec-made roof-curb rails, rubber floor mounts and pump stands. These products reduce vibration transmission into the building structure, protect equipment against premature wear and improve occupant comfort.
How to choose? The choice depends on the weight carried by each support and on the deflection required by the specification. Spring isolators offer a static deflection of 0.5 to 2.25 in and cover 20 to 5,600 lb per isolator. RMD rubber floor mounts have a deflection of 0.32 to 0.47 in. Inertia bases and anti-vibration rails are made in Quebec.
