Spring hangers isolate piping, ductwork and ceiling-hung mechanical equipment. Depending on load and required isolation level, choose between rubber models (EHD series) and spring models (SH, SHE1, SHL1, SHL2, SHM series).
How to choose a hanger? It is selected according to the load carried by each hanger rod, the required deflection and the rod diameter. Spring models cover 20 to 1,300 lb per hanger, with a static deflection of 0.5 to 2.25 in and rods up to ¾ in. The EHD neoprene model covers 33 to 370 lb, with a deflection of 0.4 to 0.5 in.
